Flatford Ltd is an engineering company specializing in steel fabrication, established in 1972. We are a BSI registered firm operating a quality assurance system since 1986, meeting the requirements of ISO 9001. This ensures that quality standards are fully monitored throughout the design and manufacturing process.
Always looking to move forward and take on new challenges, Flatford have achieved CA marking accreditation for structural steel and also the British Standard European Norm ‘BS-EN 1090’.

Flatford Ltd is an engineering company, nowadays specializing in bespoke steel fabrication. Established in 1972 we began by making tractor roll over protection systems ROPS. Fully tested and approved ROPS are still available from us today. We are a BSI Registered Firm operating a Quality Assurance System since 1986, meeting the requirements of ISO 9001, which ensures that quality standards are fully monitored throughout the design and manufacturing process. Flatford have achieved CA marking accreditation for structural steel and also the British Standard European Norm ‘BS-EN 1090’.
Drawing Office
Drawing Office facilities are available. At Flatford Ltd. we have a HNC qualified Draughtsman using AutoCAD Mechanical. We would be pleased to undertake design work by arrangement.
Small Works Department
Flatford Ltd are pleased to announce their creation of a small works dept. This is to cater for bespoke fabrications and assemblies which whilst requiring the same level of expertise as our larger jobs are of a smaller scale.
